WIA (Want It All)

“WIA (Want It All,)” is an ode to the past, present, and future dedication
they’ve poured into grinding for, and living, their dreams. Marked with the familiar rough and
growly vocal harmonies of Shef Seenya and B-Star, the track launches itself straight into the
chorus, dropping the title within the first few seconds. Line by line, each artists paints a picture,
taking their turns to tell their story between chorus reprisals. Looped into the track are some
surprising morsels for the ear. A brief rallentando at the 1:20 mark changes up the feel of the
music momentarily, then snaps you back to attention, sweeping you away with the rest of the
song. The pair also layer autotune into parts of the track, creating an effect as if you were
surrounded by the Lions themselves. These technical additions speak to the Lions experience;
having been on the scene for approximately 12 years, they’re sure to have picked up a few skills
along the way, and they don’t hesitate in sharing that knowledge.
