Atomic Ounce were formed in January 2018 by musicians Rich Jones and Ryan Mellor. Coming from Indie Pop beginnings, Ryan and Rich made the drastic decision to set their sights on a completely different realm of music, Electro Pop. The inception of Atomic Ounce was fuelled by dreams of 80's nostalgic neon lights, crisp retro synthesised melodies, and powerful bass. Exploring the forgotten world of 80's retro wave, the pair embarked on a risky journey to revitalise the era of 80's Electro Pop. Mellor and Jones energise themselves with visions of taking the music world by storm, displaying their concept for all to see.
