Sharks And Bears was an electro-pop musical side project from The Candle Thieves/Glove Compartment piano player and chief songwriter. His own brand of 'dream pop' was originally released in 2014 but after a few years the project vanished from existence due to Glock's commitment to his beloved Candle Thieves and to focus more time on his Glove Compartment band... Until now!

So who would win in a fight between a shark and a bear? Surely it'd depend on whether the battle was taking place on land or water? Perhaps this is a debate for a later date as Sharks & Bears is in fact the lovely new sound from The Candle Thieves' chief songwriter.

The Glock returns from the sleepy suburbs of Peterborough with a clean pair of glasses, and his own brand of electronic pop. Heavily armed with his trusty piano and a suitcase full of pedals and fairy lights, Sharks & Bears is packing a batch of fresh new songs intended for listening to, with ears.

Sharks & Bears is self confessed 'dream pop' exhibiting a smörgåsbord of influences from artists such as diverse as Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Eels and Imogen Heap. Sharks & Bears winds up sounding like an old new-wave friend you're yet to meet.
