Until We Meet Again

Until We Meet Again features the first collaboration with legendary and one of the only bossa nova founder alive, and grammy award winner Roberto Menescal and the debut of British folk/jazz/indie singer-songwriter Alice SK. The track had a huge impact and was aired on BBC London and plenty of other places. The track has made almost 2M playing on Amazon Music, and the Asian market seems to be eager for those sort of tracks, specially in Japan.

The track features a more than exceptional guest: Roberto Menescal, one of the pioneers of Bossa Nova, who brings his acoustic guitar rhythm into the mix.

After releasing the track and incredible feedback and airplay on BBC, Muca now shows to the world a special making-of, directed by Eduardo Binato, where Muca flew to Rio specifically to record with Menescal. It shows the songwriting process where they discuss chords, and progression and obviously, Menescal brings some hidden gems between himself and Jobim, back to the Bossa Nova and golden Brazilian era.

With ‘Until We Meet Again’ this outstanding single from London-based composer and producer Muca, and singer-songwriter Alice SK offers up a refreshed Bossa style piece where Muca’s Brazilian roots meet the indie-folk vibes of the young singer from London. Muca just finished working with Alice SK on her debut EP, he thought her voice would suit perfectly the genre and invited her to write the lyrics and sing along.
